  • What are your business hours? Our office is open Monday through Friday from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM. Appointments outside these hours may be available upon request.

  • What areas do you serve? We primarily serve individuals and families in Columbus, Ohio, and the surrounding central Ohio communities.

2. Services & Care

  • What exactly is Homemaker Personal Care (HPC)? HPC services provide assistance with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication reminders, all within the comfort of your own home.

  • Can I choose my own caregiver? Yes! Through our Participant Directed HPC service, individuals and families have the flexibility to select and manage their own trusted caregivers.

  • Do you provide transportation for medical appointments? Yes, we offer both Non-Medical Transportation (NMT) and HPC Transportation to ensure you can get to medical appointments, work, or social activities safely.

3. Fingerprinting Services (FBI & BCI)

  • Do I need an appointment for fingerprinting? No, walk-ins are always welcome during our regular business hours (8 AM – 4 PM).

  • What is the difference between BCI and FBI fingerprinting? BCI is a state-level background check (Ohio), while FBI is a federal-level check. Depending on your employer or licensing requirements, you may need one or both.

  • How long does it take to get the results? While we process the prints instantly, the turnaround time is determined by the state/federal agencies. Most results are available within a few business days.

4. Eligibility & Payments

  • Do you accept Medicaid? Yes, Bright Care LLC is a Medicaid and DODD-certified provider.

  • How do I know if I qualify for these services? Eligibility is often determined by your county board of developmental disabilities or your Medicaid waiver status. We can help guide you through the process—just give us a call!

  • Are your caregivers background-checked? Absolutely. All our staff members undergo rigorous BCI/FBI background checks and continuous training to ensure the highest level of safety and care.
